The MARHEN.J store in Seongsu-dong caught my eye while I was out on a date yesterday. This brand is well-known for its Popcorn bags, which are also reasonably priced.

I needed a bag that I could use daily, so I headed straight to the store to find something I loved.

Come out of exit 4 of Seongsu Station, you will find it near the Dior Seongsu. Even though it was the weekend, I didn't have to wait.

Lovely beautiful colored bags and miniature handbag keychains.

New collection were also on display. The mesh collection was my favorite which was the right size for me to take to the gym with me.

Choose the bag you prefer and place a sticker to its product number. I picked the meshed collection but the canvas tote bag was the item with the most stickers.

I guess the most popular items will go into production first.

 

Popcorn Swing / Popcorn Mambo

These Popcorn Mambo and Popcorn Swing are both huge hits these days.

 

Maro

The Maro bag became popular due to its frequent use by many celebrities.

The products were arranged by color which helped us to shop conveniently.

Since the MARHENJ bag is reasonably priced, I expected the quality of the material to be low. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it felt to the touch.

​The staff told us there were more products on the second floor. Perhaps it's because they specialize in bags, they offer a large selection.

There are also a variety of adorable accessories, including Wappen, Pouches, and iPod Cases. The Pebble case (iPod case) appealed to me since it was the perfect size for my iPod with a simple and elegant design.

SHASHA mini

For a daily bag, Shasha Mini was my favorite because it was compact and reasonably priced. Actually, I had planned to get a Popcorn bag, but after seeing the ShaSha, I changed my mind.

96,000 won > 49,000 won

There was a promotion, and I was able to purchase a bag for only about 50,000 won!

 

Roy Bag / Funny Bag

Both the Funny and the Roy bags come in such lovely colors.

I was able to take my time looking around the store because there weren't very many customers there.

 

Bono LeBlanc

The Bono LeBlanc was even prettier than expected.

 

Popcorn Ball / Popcorn Swing

The popular popcorn swing small and popcorn ball were available in a variety of colors. I believed the popcorn ball would be useful to tote around daily with enough space to put my activewear in. But it was too small for me, made me look like I was holding a baby bag.

Because it's so hot these days, the cool silver color was definitely appealing.

The MARHEN.J Seongsu store exceeded my expectations. If you're planning to visit Seongsu-dong, I highly recommend stopping at the MARHENJ.
