While on a date in Seongsu-dong yesterday, the MARHEN.J (Seongsu, Seoul) store immediately caught my attention. Known for their iconic Popcorn bags and reasonable pricing, I decided to stop by and find a practical, stylish bag for daily use.

The store is conveniently located near Dior Seongsu, just a short walk from Exit 4 of Seongsu Station. Despite being the weekend, the store wasn’t overly crowded, and I didn’t have to wait to get in.

Walking into the store, I was greeted by a vibrant display of beautifully colored bags and adorable miniature handbag keychains. The products were thoughtfully organized by color, making it easy to browse and shop efficiently.

 

Popcorn Swing / Popcorn Mambo

The Popcorn Swing and Popcorn Mambo bags are currently among MARHEN.J’s bestsellers. Their unique designs make them both trendy and practical.

 

Maro

The Maro bag, popularized by celebrities, is another standout piece. Its sleek design has made it a favorite among fashion enthusiasts.

The staff informed me there were more products upstairs, so I headed to the second floor. MARHEN.J specializes in bags, and their large selection didn’t disappoint.

In addition to bags, they offered a variety of cute accessories like Wappen patches, pouches, and iPod cases. I particularly liked the Pebble Case its simple, elegant design and perfect size for my iPod made it hard to resist.

SHASHA mini

Initially, I had planned to purchase a Popcorn bag, but after seeing the Shasha Mini, I changed my mind. Compact, elegant, and reasonably priced, it was perfect for daily use.

 

Roy Bag / Funny Bag

Both the Roy and Funny bags stood out with their lovely colors and versatile designs.

 

Bono LeBlanc

The Bono LeBlanc bag turned out to be even prettier in person, with its chic and modern look.

 

Popcorn Ball / Popcorn Swing

The Popcorn Ball and Popcorn Swing Small were available in various colors. While the Popcorn Ball seemed ideal for carrying daily essentials like activewear, it felt a bit too small for my needs and looked like a baby bag when I tried it.

The MARHEN.J store in Seongsu-dong exceeded my expectations. From the quality of the materials to the thoughtful product display, everything about the experience was delightful. Even in the summer heat, the cool silver-colored bags stood out as a refreshing option.
